This solo exhibition brings together a collection of pastel paintings inspired by the ever-changing beauty of the Cumbrian coastline. Working with the rich, luminous qualities of pastel, Sarah captures the movement, energy, and tranquillity of tidal environments, reflecting a deep connection to nature and the shifting effects of light, atmosphere, and season.
Sarah Reid returns to Shipping Brow Gallery with new solo exhibition celebrating the Cumbrian coast.
Running from 23 September to 1 November, the exhibition will be open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm, and will showcase a collection of Sarah’s vibrant pastel paintings inspired by the ever changing landscapes of Cumbria’s coast.
This is Sarah’s third solo exhibition at Shipping Brow Gallery, having been the very first artist to exhibit there when the gallery opened three years ago.
